Zeitzoff Law Files Personal Injury Lawsuit Against  

 United Airlines Under the Montreal Convention

Newark, New Jersey. Zeitzoff Law has filed a personal injury lawsuit against United Airlines in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Newark Vicinage, arising from injuries sustained during international airline travel. The action is brought pursuant to the Montreal Convention, an international treaty that establishes a unique and specialized liability framework governing claims arising from international airline transportation, and alleges our client suffered severe personal injuries due to a misaligned jet bridge at Frankfurt Airport.

The lawsuit stems from an international flight operated by United Airlines from Newark Liberty International Airport in Newark, New Jersey to Frankfurt, Germany. The Complaint alleges that during the boarding or deplaning process, the jet bridge was positioned in an unusual and unexpected manner next to the aircraft due to a substantial height differential between the aircraft and the jet bridge.

According to the allegations, this caused our client to trip and fall, resulting in severe personal injuries. The Complaint asserts that United Airlines violated its nondelegable duty to ensure a safe disembarkation process under the Montreal Convention.
